This week, we’re wishing a happy one year anniversary to Sarah and Matt! These two said “I do” on November 10, 2018, at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, VA. It was such a beautiful day for an outdoor country club ceremony. We loved helping to bring their vision to life with lots of greenery and lush florals.
An Outdoor Country Club Ceremony
Sarah and Matt exchanged their vows outside on the lawn overlooking the water. Our dark wood arbor was the perfect backdrop for this understated, elegant ceremony setup. We draped ivory curtains from the middle of the arbor and tied them to the posts for a whimsical look. Then we decorated the top beam with loose smilax vine and ivory and champagne roses, with just a hint of burgundy florals.
Textured Garden Bouquet
We created Sarah’s bouquet using ivory, champagne and Sahara rose, ivory spray rose, white lisianthus, and a variety of eucalyptus. The bouquet was then hand-tied with ivory ribbon. Sarah also attached a small framed photo of her father to the bouquet.
Elegant Country Club Reception
We designed two centerpiece arrangements for the reception in the ballroom. For the first one, we filled a gold mercury glass compote with a mix of greenery and lush blooms, including champagne and ivory roses, burgundy spray roses and hypericum berries. The second variation featured floating candles in glass stemmed vases of varying heights, surrounded by smilax vine and roses. This centerpiece was also accented with gold votive candles. In addition, we decorated the elegant four-tiered white wedding cake with a variety of blooms, which added a lovely pop of color and depth.
It was such a joy to serve Sarah and Matt on their special day! We wish them a wonderful anniversary and many joyful years to come.
