Most states, including Virginia, have slowly begun reopening for business—but when we’ll return to business as usual is still largely unknown. This uncertainty has left many engaged couples questioning what they should do about their big day. Some have decided to postpone until next year, others are opting for a micro wedding, and still others are settling on a hybrid approach of some kind.
It’s a tough call to make. To accommodate couples during this uncertain time, we are now offering micro wedding design packages. We know that your wedding day might not look exactly the way you’d envisioned, but we want to help you make it beautiful nonetheless.
What Is a Micro Wedding?
Typically, a micro wedding refers to a wedding with 50 guests or less. With the coronavirus restrictions limiting gatherings to 10 or less in some places, some micro weddings have become even smaller affairs.
It’s important to note that these weddings are NOT the same as elopements. Elopements only involve the bride and groom and their officiant (and maybe a photographer). Oftentimes they are destination weddings, and the bride and groom usually usually keep their plan under wraps.
On the other hand, micro weddings are still complete weddings—just on a smaller scale. They are still planned out in advance, and they involve typical wedding vendors, including wedding planners, photographers, musicians and floral designers.

How Our Micro Wedding Packages Work
We want our couples to still have the beautiful florals they’ve dreamed of for their wedding day. The florals for micro weddings typically include just a few pieces: the bouquet, the groom’s boutonniere, and an altar arrangement. Because of the significantly smaller amount of flowers needed for micro weddings, we can’t guarantee the specific types of blooms we will use to create these pieces.
What we CAN guarantee is that we’ll do what we do best: create beautiful, timeless floral designs for your wedding with the same care, expertise and passion that we pour into every event we design.
For our couples needing micro wedding design, we ask them to provide us their top 3 color palette preferences. We also need to know the style and color of their wedding attire, and whether they have any allergies. We will do our very best to create in their first color preference. However, we ask for backups because of the current uncertainties with the supply chain.
We have two packages available for micro wedding design:
