This week we’re wishing Hannah and Drew a happy 6 month anniversary! This sweet couple tied the knot on May 25, 2019, at the Williamsburg Inn. Their bright coral and wine florals made for an enchanting spring aesthetic, and we loved helping them create the wedding of their dreams.
Coral & Wine Spring Wedding Palette
If you’re considering a color palette for your spring wedding, Hannah and Drew’s wedding is the perfect inspiration. Their elegant May wedding was filled with a gorgeous spectrum of bright spring flowers. Splashes of bright coral and deep wine florals gave the whole day a romantic, whimsical feel.
A Change in the Plan
When Hannah and Drew first booked us, they had a different color scheme in mind. While those colors were beautiful, Hannah decided to change it up a bit and incorporate the brighter corals. Hannah shared her desire for the change about two weeks before we met for their Full Design Planning meeting, so we were able to make the adjustment with no problems.
We know that when you book a wedding florist 8-12 months before your wedding, there’s a good chance you may change your mind on some of the design as you begin to plan. This is one of the reasons we offer a general suggested budget when our couples book this far in advance. Once the major details of the wedding are in place—such as table count and wedding party details—we have the full design meeting. This is a fun meeting where we select specific blooms and vessels, and plan out the specifics. When we met with Hannah to solidify her floral design, we were happy to help her choose the perfect coral blooms to brighten up her bouquet and centerpieces.
It was undoubtedly an amazing decision! The bright pop of coral contrasted perfectly with the deep wine blooms and elegant greenery. Hannah and Drew’s wedding was absolutely breathtaking, and we were happy to play a part in it. See more of Hannah and Drew’s wedding on the White Wren blog!
