Meredith and I met in the spring of 2016, when she and her family relocated to Yorktown. We bonded over our experience in the wedding industry, and we became fast friends. Since then, Meredith and her husband Jason have become like a second family to me. I was delighted when they decided to renew their vows at Seven Springs Farm for their 10-year anniversary. And I was even more excited to be providing the florals for the special occasion!
An Intimate Celebration at Seven Springs Farm
Meredith and Jason chose Seven Springs Farm in King William, VA, as the venue for their vow renewal. A picturesque farm situated on 100 acres of land, Seven Springs provided the perfect atmosphere for my friends’ special celebration. Katelyn James Photography captured each moment of their special day in gorgeous true color.
Meredith and Jason had an intimate outdoor ceremony on the grounds, followed by a private dinner indoors with their guests. The couple also made sure their two sweet children played an integral part in their special celebration.
Each detail of the vow renewal was thoughtful and intentional. Meredith’s aesthetic vision for her the day was an Anthropology feel. Thus, we gravitated to the colors and textures of Cafe au Leit dahlia, pink ice protea, hanging pink pepper berry and silver dollar eucalyptus. We also designed her bouquet with two sides, giving it the appearance of two different bouquets, depending on the angle. On one side of the bouquet, the protea were the focal flowers. On the other side, the Cafe au Leit dahlias and heart roses served as the focal.
After the ceremony and dinner, everyone changed into their comfy clothes and chatted around the fire pit. In the morning, Meredith and Jason got up and baked homemade biscuits for their family and friends who had stayed the night. Their vow renewal was everything they wanted and more, and I’m so glad I was able to be a part of it!
