As the winners of our wedding giveaway last year, Jeremy and Shannon’s Two Rivers Country club wedding was filled with lush garden roses, shimmering dresses, and notes of rustic touches. Their many years of friendship and dating added great depth to the details of their wedding.
How they Met
Jeremy first spotted Shannon in high school cocked back in her chair, feet up, and arms behind her heard appearing to all the world that she was the most important person in the world. In his words, “It was not love at first sight.” But through months of chatting in class and studying together a friendship formed, which eventually led to dating while attending West Virginia University together.
With a beautiful beach side proposal was planned and a custom ring holding an heirloom diamond on the way, Jeremy was set to make Shannon’s dreams come true. But as life often does, a curve ball was thrown into the mix. Heading out on a date one night Shannon and Jeremy stopped by Jeremy’s grandparents house. Completely unaware of Shannon coming in right behind Jeremy, his grandfather asked if he had picked up the engagement ring! Shannon promptly ran out of the house in shock.
Winning the Wedding Giveaway
Although the proposal may not have turned out the way either had envisioned, winning the Two Rivers Wedding Giveaway gave them the opportunity for a wedding beyond their dreams. The amazing vendor team pulled together Shannon and Jeremy’s polar styles of gold glitz and rustic country to create a classy cohesive southern country club celebration. Shotgun shell boutonnieres gave a nod to Jeremy’s hunting hobby while southern paper parasols champagne beaded gowns brought in Shannon’s sense of style. Lush bouquets boasting garden roses, lisianthus, sahara roses, and veronica, paired with italian ruscus ensconced in curly willow doubled as decoration along their rustic wood head table.
A round of applause is in order for the host of amazing wedding pros who dedicated so much time, love, and effort to pull off the Two Rivers Wedding Giveaway.
